Engineering
Our experienced design engineers deliver high-quality, consistent security design packages including written specifications, submittals, detailed drawings, project redlines and closeout documentation.
It’s not just about delivering high-quality security designs and engineering, Security-Net engineers are trained on the latest state-of-the-art products and industry offerings to ensure that our engineered solutions identify any gaps in coverage and recognize any weaknesses to provide the highest levels of protection for the building and its occupants. We design systems to maximize situational awareness based on your individual security objectives and priorities.
A Security-Net Engineer will meet with you to determine your security goals. A site survey will be conducted to determine the areas of concern and he will discuss with you the appropriate technology to mitigate the risks. During the survey, we will determine the necessary infrastructure required to support the planned deployment. This will include network connectivity, power supplies, panel locations, door hardware, and access to power.
Following the initial assessment, site survey and agreement on the security goals and priorities, a detailed set of specifications and drawings will be prepared. These may include complete product specifications and submittals, detailed drawings, equipment locations, wiring diagrams, complete list of components and a bill of materials.
If a Video Management System is included in the design, Security-Net Engineers will make sure to provide the fully calculated storage requirements specific to the cameras, recorders and servers planned for your system. Based on your current and/or estimated future storage requirements, we may recommend on-site storage on local servers or cloud-based storage solution.
Security-Net Engineers are experienced with Auto-Cad, Vizio, and BIM 3D computer modeling programs. Our detailed drawings can easily identify potential problems with the design before they become a job site reality that will cost you money.
Whether it is an engineering only plan or a complete system design and installation project, we will make sure that the products, installation, infrastructure, and deployment all meet the applicable standards, regulations and building codes.
